Jessie J. Garcia of Gulfport, MS, age 86, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014, in Gulfport, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeff and Myrtle Phelps Garcia; and his siblings, Rosemary Necaise, Delores Sherman, Wilma Musser, Delta Proze, Lucille Johnson, Eugene Garcia and Alden Garcia.
He is survived by his children, Ricky Garcia, Jimmy Garcia, John Garcia, Glenda Bane, Tammy Estrella, Kenneth Garcia, Jeff ""Tommy"" Garcia, David Garcia, Melinda Massey, and Elaine Warnick; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and extended family.
Jessie was a Korean War veteran who served in the US Army. He is a retired foreman from Tenneco Oil Refinery.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 27, 2014, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014, in the funeral home chapel at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
