Jessie Duke

Jessie L. Duke, age 80, of Ocean Springs, passed away on May 9, 2015 in Ocean Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. Duke; and a grandson, Jamie Mallett.
She is survived by her children, Charles E. Duke of Virginia Beach, VA, Debra D. Wade, and Kathy Stroble, both of Ocean Springs; her grandchildren, Charles Duke, Jr of Richmond, VA, Melissa K. Stroble of Mobile, AL, Chuckie Wade of Biloxi, and Frankie Wade of Denver, CO; her great grandchildren, Riley Duke, Gavin Wade, Zach Britt, and Jonathan Britt; and her sisters, Paulette Marcum of Gulfport and Mariam Cooley of Saucier.
She retired after 26 years from the Biloxi VA Hospital where she served as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and she earned numerous awards serving her patients.
She was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, corner of Lemoyne Blvd and Washington Avenue. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
