Jessie W. Cuevas, Jr., age 75, of Long Beach, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
Mr. Cuevas was born in Bay St. Louis to Jesse Willard Cuevas and Lillie Mae Hoda Cuevas. He served in the U.S. Army and was the former owner of Cuevas Tree Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Allen Ray Cuevas.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rose Mary Breland Cuevas; children, Jessie W. Cuevas, III, William Cuevas, Elizabeth Grace Farnsworth, and Birdie Annette Hall; siblings, Essie Stewart, Patsy Verdin, and Karleen Lee; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life services will be held on Monday, June 24, 2013, at Shepherd's Way Church, Pineville Road, Long Beach, at 6:00 p.m.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
