Jesse G. "Lolly" Parker

Mr. Jesse ""Lolly"" Gordon Parker, Sr., 80, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in New Orleans.
Lolly was born March 7, 1936 in Pass Christian and was a life-long resident of the Pass. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Lolly dedicated his life to his faith, his family and his work. He worked for 48 years at the Port of Gulfport, retiring as the General Superintendent.
Lolly was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, a member of the I.L.A. Local 1303 and he served on the Harrison County Water Board.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse E. Parker; his mother, Helena C. Chambliss; his brother, Robert E. Parker; and his sister, Barbara Ann Parker.
Lolly is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shannon Sprinkle Parker; his 6 children, Renee (Bennie) Malley, Jesse (Pam) Parker, Jr., Barbara Swilley, Richie Parker, Greg (Kimberly) Parker and Becky (Jonathan) Clemens; 15 grandchildren, Benjamin (Shana) Malley, Matthew Malley, Joshua (Breanna) Malley, Jessica (Joseph) Vizzini, Jenna Parker, Meghan (Josef) Smith, Melissa (Brandon) Necaise, Keith Swilley, Shannon Swilley, Madison Parker, Bryan Parker, Lindsay Parker, Logan Parker, Thomas Clemens and Emily Clemens; and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit the Parker family on Saturday, March 19th from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pass Christian. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
