Jerry McClellan

Jerry McClellan, age 80, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018, in Ocean Springs, MS.
He was born in Smith County, MS, on July 24, 1937, and had been a resident of Ocean Springs, MS, for 54 years.  Jerry married Hilda Ruth Grice on March 13, 1959, in Taylorsville, MS.  He served in the United States Army from 1955 to 1958, mainly in Korea.  He retired from Mallette Brothers Construction Company of Gautier, MS, in about 1999.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, James and Annie Lee McClellan, and his brother, James F. McClellan.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Ruth McClellan; his daughter, Karen Sumrall (Rusty); his daughter Kerry Mazur (Leonard); his son, Mark McClellan (Darcy); his daughter, Sharon Barnes; his grandchildren: Ashley Sumrall, Michael McClellan, Krystal Fagan, Bryan McClellan, Grace Duric, Paul Mazur, Shane Sumrall, Ashton Barnes, Christian Barnes, Victoria McClellan, Laura Faith Mazur; his great-grandchildren: Jackson Mazur Smith, Cooper Catchot, Sophie Catchot and Kash Fagan; and his siblings: Joyce Lott, Wayne McClellan and Tommy McClellan.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018, with the memorial service starting at 11:00 a.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 1387 Lemoyne Blvd at Washington Ave., West Jackson County.  Interment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
