Jerry Benedict, I

Jerry Raymond Benedict, I, age 78, passed away on December 4, 2022 in Woolmarket. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to John and Bernice Benedict and was a resident of Woolmarket for 35 + years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John G. Benedict Sr. and Bernice Vanhorn Benedict; and brother, John Benedict, Jr.

He is survived by his sons Jerry Benedict, II (Rhonda) and Jeff Benedict (Melissa); four grandchildren, Summer Teal (Bryan), Melissa Mastro (Nick), Jared Benedict (Shannon), Justin Benedict (Sarah); 10 great-grandchildren; lady friend and partner for 8+ years, Pat Nivens; brother, Jim Benedict (Trudy); sister, Patricia Benedict; former spouse and mother of his children, Violet Benedict; sister-in-law, Barbara Benedict;  and numerous other extended family members.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS 39503. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am at Coalville Cemetery in Woolmarket.
