Jennifer Lynn Dale

Jennifer Dale, born Jennifer Lynn Tomczak on December 14, 1970, passed away on April 27, 2025, in Gulfport, MS.

A beloved wife, mother, daughter, step-grandmother, and college math professor. Jennifer grew up in Aurora, IL where she attended Waubonsie Valley High School, College of DuPage (COD) for her undergrad, and Northern Illinois University (NIU) for her Bachelors and Masters. She was a hardworking, determined, and intelligent woman. She continued her education to get her master’s while caring for 4 small children, which is only a small window into the many things she was able to balance in her life.

Jennifer was the life of the party, and always kept a smile on her face, no matter what challenges she faced. Jennifer faced a lot of medical challenges later in life which in turn led to her death. She truly was taken from us too soon.

Jennifer is survived by her Husband of almost 30 years, Scott Dale; a stepdaughter Alexandra Dale; son Erik Dale; daughter’s Grace Dale, Evelyn Dale, her “baby” Will Dale; step-grandson, Axel Weimer; her mother, Christine Tomczak; sister, Jackie Dearborn; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, Ernie Tomczak; her grandparents, Edward and Eleanor Tomczak, and Genevieve and Stanley Pacanowski.

Jennifer will be cremated. A small, private life celebration will be held with immediate family during Mother’s Day weekend. To pay your respects, we ask you to hug your mother close this Mother’s Day, or your children. There will be no formal funeral service for Jennifer.

We truly thank everyone for all of the kind wishes. It's amazing how many people’s lives Jennifer touched.
