Jennie L. Armato

Jennie L. Armato, age 86 a resident of Pass Christian and native of Hammond LA, died on Saturday, March 23, 2013, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvadore (Sam) Joseph Armato; her parents, Charles Latino and Josephine Latino; her sisters, Lucille Latino, Theresa Ruspoli, and Eva Rose (Reesie) Ruspoli; her brothers, Joseph Latino, Salvadore Latino, Johnny Latino, and Russell Latino.
She is survived by her sons, Salvadore (Sam) Joseph Armato, Jr., and Charles Jude Armato; her daughter, Marian Armato Torgeson; three grandchildren,three step-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her family and friends whenever possible. She was a religious woman devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Holy Rosary.
She spent most of her life as a public servant at the Harrison County Courthouse as a purchasing clerk, at Pass Christian City Hall as a city clerk and business partner in a family owned business.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, from 6pm until 8pm at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pass Christian, with a Recitation of the Rosary to be held at 7pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 10am at Holy Family Catholic Church, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Pass Christian.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, assisted the family with arrangements.
