Jean’ Aaron Trochesset, age 51, passed away on April 10, 2026, at his residence in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Born in Gulfport, Mississippi, Jean carried a deep love for both his roots and his country. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Cary Trochesset and Kathleen Northrop.

Jean’ is lovingly remembered by his former wife and dear friend, Amy Gayle Schneider, and by his four children, who were the center of his world: Haley Elizabeth Trochesset (24), Kylie Renée Trochesset (23), Abbie Gayle Trochesset (21), and Sean Cary Trochesset (18). He also leaves behind his aunt, Maura Cook, along with many who will continue to cherish his memory.

Jean’ proudly served in the National Guard and had a strong sense of patriotism, holding a deep love for his country. He dedicated many years of his life to his work with FedEx Express, where he was known as one of the best couriers. He was reliable, hardworking, and committed to doing his job well.

In his free time, Jean’ enjoyed movies, music, and good food. He had a discerning palate and took genuine pleasure in sharing meals and offering his thoughtful critiques. Though he could be quiet in expressing his feelings, those who knew him understood the depth of his love, especially for his children, whom he regarded as his greatest accomplishments in life.

Jean’ will be deeply missed every day. His absence leaves an undeniable quiet space that speaks louder than words could ever explain. reflection of the love he gave and the life he lived.
