JB Lewis

John ""JB"" Lewis, age 68, of Gulfport, passed away on February 29, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Lewis, grandparents, Rev. A.B. Phelps and Elsie Phelps, and a grandson, Jarred Allen.
Survivors include his children, Theresa (John) Cuevas, Christy (Jeremy) Hayes, David Lewis, Cameron Lewis, Carlos Nabors and Shandas Martin, his mother, Ola P. Lewis, a brother, Joseph Lewis, 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mr. Lewis enjoyed politics and was a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed all aspects of life on the water. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 5, 2016, from 1 - 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Free Church of God Cemetery.
