Janice Lougene Heard Tiblier, age 75, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2026.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Janice’s life was defined by her unconditional love for her family and her passion for bringing joy to others. 

Born in Mississippi, Janice eventually made her home in D’Iberville alongside her devoted husband and children. In her early years, she graduated from beauty school and was working as a talented hairdresser when she met the love of her life, Donnie. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised four children. Janice spent many fulfilling years doing what she loved at Hair Magic before her well-deserved retirement.

Some of Janice’s fondest memories were created on family camping trips with Donnie and their young children, surrounding firesides and endless laughter. As time went on, her greatest pride and joy came from her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandbabies, adoring each of them with all her heart.

Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Donnie Tiblier; her daughter, Gina Tiblier; her parents, William and Katie Heard; and her brothers, Eugene Heard and Wayne Heard.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her surviving children: Misty Acosta (Dave), Joshua Tiblier (Kasey), and Jonathan Tiblier (Kylie Kudrov); her adoring grandchildren: Seth Lewis, Zachary Tiblier, Hunter Tiblier, Ally Tiblier, Denise Sturmer (Andrew), and Desiree G’sell (Hunter); and her precious great-grandchildren: Aurora Sturmer, Ariel Sturmer, Harvey G’sell and Mila G’sell.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Riemann Family Funeral Homes, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., West Jackson County, from 8:30am until the funeral service at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Janice’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
