Janice Massey

Janice Marcelle Johnson Massey, age 81, of Woolmarket, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
Mrs. Massey met her husband and married at the age of 16.  She was a hardworking lady who was a great seamstress and avid deer hunter.  She loved the outdoors and having fun with family friends, and most will remember her as the "Tamale Lady".
She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd R. Johnson, Sr. and Pauline Wheeler Johnson; her son, Raymond B. Massey; brothers, Boyd, Jr., Arthur, Raymond, Sidney, and David Johnson.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jerry B. Massey; daughter, Paula Rene Cuevas; brother, Jerry Johnson of Texas; grandchildren, Aaron Hanson and Cory Hanson; and one great granddaughter, Julya Hanson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, at 2:00 p.m.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Gardens.
