Janet Kay Williams

Janet Kay Williams, age 84, of Long Beach, passed away on August 1, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Williams; her father, Charles A. Warren; and her mother, Jean Rosetti Warren.

She is survived by her children, Chuck A. Williams (Tammie) and Kimberly Brown (Criswell); her grandchildren, Christopher Street, Amber Barefoot (Alan), Austin Williams, and Taylor Williams; her great-grandchildren, Allie Ryan Barefoot, Abbie Lane Barefoot, Mercy Williams, and Brayden Brannon; a godchild, Michelle Carver; and other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Williams was a native of Gulfport and was a long-time resident of Long Beach. She was employed as a plant supervisor for 23 years at Regina Company and Oreck MFG in Long Beach. She was an avid archer, and enjoyed bowling, and football. She also served as a cub scout leader and cheer coach. Mrs. Williams was a faithful member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Long Beach where she attended the 7:30 am mass each Sunday and was a part of the “Back Row Group!”

The family would like to extend special thank you and love to One Magnolia Place, Arden Hospice, and Jason Green with Riemann Family Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A prayer service will be held at 9:30 am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
