Jamison Guy Lee

Jamison Guy "Jamie" Lee, age 52, born December 15, 1970, a cherished and beloved son, brother, father, nephew, and friend, set out on his final adventure, September 06, 2023, due to complications from liver disease that came upon him suddenly and unexpected, at Vancleave, MS, supported by his loving ‘Tribe’.

Those who knew Jamie, even just a little, lost a shining light from their lives. Jamie will be sorely missed by surviving members of his family including his devoted mother and step-father, ‘Anna’ Lois and Rick Gilbert, Williams Lake, BC Canada; his step-mother of many years, Rheba Lee of Poplarville MS; his brother, Eric Lee (Dahnae); his sister, Jessica Lee Martin; his beloved children, Ayla Irie Lee of Columbia MO, Andrew Jamison Lee and Miah Angel, both of Vermont; his maternal Aunt and Uncle, Sandra and Johnny Kendall of Biloxi MS, much loved Uncle Roy D. Bobinger of Gulfport, MS; his paternal aunts, Patricia ‘Trish’ Lee-Waters and Marlene Lee-Cole (Rankin), both of Poplarville MS; and his many cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous family members and friends.

We want to give special recognition to Jamie’s ‘Tribe’, who surrounded him with much love throughout his earthly journey and held him in their loving arms at his passing. You know who you are… Momma is eternally grateful to these kind souls, for loving Jamie so completely and recognizing his unique, ever-shining light. Jamie was greeted in heaven by his infant daughter Annabelle Lynn Lee; his father, James Junior Lee of Poplarville MS; his sister, Katrina Lynn Lee-Orr; his maternal grandparents, Alvin Andy Bobinger (Betty Kisner Bobinger) of Gulfport, MS and Eula Mae Broussard Bobinger of Lafayette LA; his paternal grandparents, Marvin and Octavia Lee of Lumberton, MS; and his Uncle Roland Bobinger of Arlington TX.

Jamie had so much goodness, so much love, such a bright light and so much capacity to bring happiness to others; the world is a lesser place without him. Volumes could not hold all the accolades that would describe Jamie. Suffice it to say, Jamie ‘Loved well’ and was ‘well Loved’… That’s all our Good GOD asks of us. “And you were a presence full of light upon this earth, And I am a witness to your life and to its worth". There will certainly be a great festival in Heaven this day…

In lieu of cards and flowers, Jamie would hope for an unexpected and unsolicited act of kindness for some poor unfortunate soul, in his name.

Jamie will be laid to rest beside his Daddy and beloved Sister in the Lee Family Cemetery at Poplarville MS at a date to be decided.

The family would like to thank David Chadwick "Chad" Riemann and the wonderful folks at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, MS, for so compassionately assisting us at so difficult a time.
