James Lester Ward

James Lester Ward, Jr. age 86 and a resident of Gulfport, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 10, 2013, in Gulfport.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 10:00am at Biloxi National Cemetery.
James was born on September 24, 1926, in Biloxi, to James and Iola Reeves Ward. He later married Jessie May Brougher.
He served in the United States Navy in World War II. After he served in the Navy, he was a fisherman most of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his brother, George Ward; a sister, Virginia Holliman, and a son, Paul Ward, Sr.
James is survived by his daughter, Jessie Schroeder of Seattle, WA and two sisters, Mary Harris and Nora Bralley both of Gulfport.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements.
