TSgt James M. ""Jim"" Walker, USAF, Ret., age 79, of Gulfport, passed away on May 2, 2013, in Wiggins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, McNeil and Zola Walker, a brother, Bill Walker, and a granddaughter, Jamie Papania.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Patricia ""Pat"" Walker, a son, Mike Walker, 2 daughters, Jan Papania and Kay (James) Brock, a sister, Carol McGuffee, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Walker served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and Vietnam War and retired as a Tech Sergeant after 20 years. He later retired from MS Power Co., after 21 years of service. He enjoyed watching TV, playing slots, NASCAR, and football.
Visitation will be Friday, May 10, 2013, from 12-1 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
