James Edward Walker, age 65, of Vancleave, passed away on October 7, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry ""Pete"" Walker, Sr. and Eva C. Walker, and a brother, Jerry E. Walker, Jr., and his beloved pet ""Sassy.""
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Theresa ""Terrie"" Walker, a daughter, Michelle Walker (Brian) Oliver, 2 sisters, Brenda Walker Pleasant, and his twin, Janice M. Walker, his best friend, Buddy Cospelich, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mr. Walker served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and worked for the City of Gulfport over 20 years, owned and operated a catering business with his wife, and later retired from AT&T in the fraudulent card usage division.
He was a faithful member of Ramsay Hills Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from 3 - 5 pm at Ramsay Hills Baptist Church, 13300 Joe Batt Road, Vancleave, MS. A memorial service will be at 5 pm in the church with a reception immediately following in the fellowship hall.
