James Terrell Stanley, age 86, of Biloxi, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in Mobile, AL due to injuries from an automobile accident.
Mr. Stanley retired after 21 years from the U.S. Marine Corp, serving in World War II and the Korean War. He then retired after 20 years with the National Maritime Union as a Merchant Seaman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Reiko Ogura Stanley; and his parents, Henry and Maggie Stanley.
Mr. Stanley will be sadly missed by his loving daughter, Catherine Marie Coe; his granddaughter, Caroline Anne Hann; and his great-granddaughter, Celia Marie Pappas.
Friends are invited to join the Stanley family for visitation from 2 until 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The Graveside Service will take place in Arlington National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, JULY 8, 2009.
