James Robert Speck, age 10, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 14, 2016 in Biloxi.
James was a resident of Bay St. Louis and attended the Child Development Center in Gulfport. He loved music, his toys that lit up, watching t.v. and animals.
James was a very sweet angel. His life was short, but it was beautiful. He touched everyone whoever encountered him. He is loved and will be missed by many. Special thanks to Riemann Family Funeral Home and the Center for Nonviolence for all donations.
James was preceded in death by his grandmother, Anne Cathrine Connolly Cooper; grandfather, Robert Winford Cooper; uncles, Timothy Robert Cooper, James Steven Cooper and Paul Connolly Cooper; great-grandparents, James Bryce Cooper, Bessie Aline Hunter Cooper and Hazel Roberts.
Survivors include his mother, Anne Marie Cooper Speck; his father, Gerald Allen Speck; brothers, Casey Ryan Speck and Daniel Allen Speck; aunts, Melissa Furnish and Deanna Reid and children, Hannah Davis, Jacob Davis, Lauren Davis and Matthew Davis; and uncle, Maurice Shelby.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 19th at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, where friends may visit one hour prior from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Bay St. Louis.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Gulf Parish.
