James Archie McLemore of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020. He was 79. He is preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Eric McLemore, his parents, Frank Richard McLemore, Sr. and Julia Catherine Rodgers McLemore, his brothers, Frank Richard McLemore, Jr. and Thomas Gene McLemore. Also preceding him in death is a grandson, Stephen Mouring and Stephen's son, Memphis Wayne Mouring. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Wanda Russom McLemore, his children James Carson McLemore (Reni), Cynthia Gail Bordeman (Michael), David Allen McLemore (Isabel Marie), Joseph Edward McLemore (Bethanie Dawn), Julie Mills Faucha (Andre), Shelia Kay Mills and Douglas Clark Mills. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, Ben, Stephanie, Ozy, Cassidy, Nicolas, Matthew, Madeline, Michael, Kain, Tobie, Tuesday, Seth, Jeffrey, Heather, Kevin and Devon and his 18 great-grandchildren, Marlowe, Juliette, Jace, Mia, Heaven, Roman, Mason, Ava Laine, Emma Grace, Damian Davila, Christopher, Carsyn, Adilynn, Jantzen, Cayden, Peyton, Gavin, Collin, his sisters, Alice Faye Dixon (Charles) and Mary Lee Stimple (Richard) and his sisters-law, Ann Philley and Ginny Myers and his mother-in-law, Lois Russom. James was a High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was a member of the church for over 58 years. He owned his construction business for many years and was an union member. He spent the last 9 construction years with F L Crane and sons. He enjoyed fishing, leather work, building furniture and loved dancing.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 11:00 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS and the visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until service time.
