James Daniel Lawson

Mr. James Lawson, age 71, passed away on March 8, 2016 in Biloxi. James was a retired navy officer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Frances Lawson; and 8 siblings
His survivors include his 2 sons, Mike Lawson (Kirbee) of Biloxi, Daniel Lawson (Marilyn) of Gulfport; 6 grandchildren, Dylan, Makenzie, Hayden, Devon, Heidi, Dylan; 1 brother, George Lawson of Missouri; 1 sister Shirley Brand of Missouri; former spouse, Dawn Lawson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His hobbies included fishing, golfing, and woodworking.
The family will be receiving friends from 9-10 AM on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 11280 Three Rivers Road Gulfport. A celebration of life will follow at 10 am. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org
