James Keith Lassabe, age 63, of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Keith was a man who lived a hardworking life and took pride in the work he did. He spent his life as a commercial fisherman and also worked in construction, dedicating himself to providing for those he loved. His life reflected strength, perseverance, and a willingness to lend a helping hand whenever someone was in need.

Keith will be remembered most for his generous heart. He was always ready to help anyone in need and had a heart of gold. He was deeply loved by his family and all those fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, his willingness to help others, and the memories he created with the people he loved will remain in their hearts forever.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Justin Lassabe Sr. and Mary Ellen (Altman) Lassabe; his brothers, Justin Lassabe Jr. and Chuckie Lassabe; his sister, Anita Lassabe Holliman; and his grandparents, Charlie and Olevia Lassabe.

Keith leaves behind his beloved daughter, Cassandra (Jarren) Lizana; his sister, Kathy White of Alabama; his brother, Carl (Michelle) Lassabe; his longtime girlfriend, Lisa Hales; four grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish his memory.

Though Keith is no longer with us, the love he gave and the lives he touched will continue to live on through his family and friends. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed.

A farewell gathering celebrating Keith's life will be held at 5:30 PM, Friday, September 18, 2026, at the home of Carl and Michelle Lassabe, 22330 Abbey Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.

Rest peacefully, Keith. Your helping hands may be still, but the love you gave and the memories you left behind will never fade.
