James Ladner

James L. "Red" Ladner, 80, of Gulfport passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at his home. He was a lifelong resident of Gulfport.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James "Archie" and Mildred "Nanny" Ladner; and two brothers, Carl Raymond, and Leroy Eugene Ladner;
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Hilda M. Rogers Ladner of Gulfport; six children, James L. Ladner, Jr. (Frances) of Gulfport, Mildred "Louise" Ladner of Gulfport, Dorothy Baker of Gulfport, Rassie "Mullett" Hillman Baker (Pam) of Virginia Beach, VA, Theresa Dianne Baker of Long Beach, Patricia Renee Malley (Victor) of Pass Christian; 8 grandchildren, Jake, Kyle, Mack, Emma Frances, Luke, Trisha, Denis, Katie; five great-grandchildren, Destiny, Emma Marie, Blakesley, Claire, Wyatt; three sisters, Dorothy Ladner of Gulfport, Linda Cuevas (Kenneth) of Kiln, Beverly Singley (Bill) of Gulfport; four brothers, Milton Ray Ladner (Maggie) of Raeford, NC, Larry Dale Ladner (Betty) of Saucier, Darrell Ladner of Gulfport, Gerald Ladner (Penny) of Gulfport;  and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 AM - 1 PM on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Funeral services will be at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at the First Free Church of God Cemetery. The family wants to give thanks to Mississippi Home Care and special thanks to Southern Care Hospice Team for their care and love, most especially to Josh.
