James Ish, III

James Smith Ish III, age 70, of Gulfport, passed away on December 10, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara L. Ish; and his parents, Alice W. Ish and James S. Ish, Jr.
Survivors include his son, James S. Ish IV; a sister: Francis Page Feller; and nephews, Patrick Feller, Andrew Feller, and Bonner Feller.
He was a native of Renton, WA and lived in Gulfport for many years. He was a graduate from J. E. Weeler High School in Marietta, GA, Marietta-Cobb Vocational - Technical School for Welding, and Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College for Truck Driving. He served in the United States Navy, rank of SK3 served during Vietnam with 6 years of service. He was employed for 28 years with TV Station WXXV and various other places over the years.
Mr. Ish was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lizana and volunteer fire fighter for many years in Lizana.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the First Baptist Church of Lizana - Pastor Charles Bonner or Tulane Abdominal Transplant Institute.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Lizana on January 13, 2018, at 1pm.
