James "Jimmy" Moore Hucabee, 61 passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 in Gulfport.
Jimmy was a native of Foley, Alabama and was a long-time resident of Gulfport. He attended Harrison Central High School and was an avid Saints fan. He also participated in the Feet First, First Time Program, helping students to learn to prevent brain and spinal cord injuries.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Bryant Hucabee, Jr.; and his grandmother, Alice Griggers Perry.
Survivors include his children, Aimee Moran (Louis), Bobby Warrick, Jr. (Bridgette), and Jeffrey Warrick (Jackie); siblings include his dedicated sister, Danielle Barton (Scott), sister, MaryAnn Arceneaux (Kenneth), and brother, Larry Perry; his 10 grandchildren, Aubrey Moran, Noah Moran, Ian Moran, Bobby Warrick, Riley Warrick, Cassidee Warrick, Mason Warrick, Avery Warrick, Anniston Warrick, and Arleigh Warrick; his stepmother, Mildred Perry; and other loving nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff and his resident friends at the Boyington Nursing Home.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, 11:00 AM at Michael Memorial Baptist Church, Gulfport.
