James Foster

James Thomas Foster, age 69, of Pass Christian, went to his Lord on March 14, 2013 after a one year battle with cancer.
James was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Laura Foster; brothers, Woodrow, Jr and Robert Foster; and a sister Rose Foster Cates.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patti Foster; his daughter, Felicia (Patrick) Ricci; his son, Paul Foster; grandchildren, Chase Foster, Venus Foley, and Porter Ricci; sisters, Ann (Butch) Hines, Wanda Foster, Peggy (Larry) Page, Velma (Don) Parks, Brenda Roberts; brothers, Ben (Kathy) Foster, Mike Foster, Toby (Gail) Foster, and John (Jada) Foster; and many nieces and nephews.
He proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Hector. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers' Union for fifty years. His favorite pastimes were fishing and working on his land. He would help anyone do anything, as long as they did it ""his way"".

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux community with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the Mass. Burial will follow at the family's cemetery.
