James ""Duke"" Brown, 70, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Gulfport.
He was preceded by his parents, Walter Brown and Margaret Misso Tharp; wife, Brenda Brown; step-father, Ossie Tharp.
He is survived by his children, Major James E. ""Bubba"" Brown (Chrystal ) of Biloxi; Shelia Brown Kendall (Bobby) of Cascilla, MS; Rodney D. Brown of Slidell, LA; Shane Brown (Dana) of Gulfport; step-son, Rodney A. Goss; grandchildren, Jackson and Landry Brown, Dustin and Madison Goss, Brittany and Linzey Kendall, Courtney Brown Isgett, Breezy and Haley Barna; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Bella Ware; close family acquaintances, Betty & Ricky Banos Priego, and Sam Fennell; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A visitation will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until service time. A burial will be held following the service at Finley Cemetery in Gulfport.
