James Bevis

Jim Bevis, age 61, of Diamondhead, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Gresham and Anna Margaret Chance Bevis.
Jim is survived by his sons, Nolan Bevis and Nick Bevis, both of Diamondhead; his siblings, Mary Bruce and Stanley of Pensacola; and by his nephews, Will Bruce and Clay Bruce.
Jim began his career as an intern and became CFO of the Stennis Space Center and he was devoted to work as he provided for his family.
In his spare time, Jim enjoyed music and playing the guitar.
He will be remembered as a devoted Christian and was an active member of Jacob's Well Baptist Church in Pass Christian.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time at Jacob's Well Baptist Church in Pass Christian. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Rotten Bayou, Diamondhead.
The family requests that you honor Jim's life by making donations to Jacob's Well Baptist Church.
