James Baughman

James E. ""Jim"" Baughman, age 83, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on August 20, 2016. He was born on April 11, 1933 in Poplarville, MS to James K. and Velma Baughman. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School and was a Class of 1959 graduate from Mississippi State University. He also served in the US Navy. He retired as a training specialist from Keesler Air Force Base and attended Grace Bible Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Della Loper.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Putnam Baughman; his children, Angela Lerner of Montgomery, AL, Jeff Baughman of Seal Beach, CA, Cindy Baughman of Gulfport; granddaughter, Lauren Lerner of Montgomery, AL; two sisters, Jeanette Biggleston and Linda Thomson (Jon) both of Royal Palm Beach, FL.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport from 12-1 PM. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM at Biloxi National Cemetery following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorial donations be made to Gideon International Biloxi Camp - P.O. Box 4378 Biloxi, MS 39535. The family wishes to give a special thanks to Kare-In-Home Hospice for the exceptional care that he received as a patient.
