Jaime Vega Uribe

Jaime Vega Uribe, age 68 of Gulfport passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025.

Jaime is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ma Luz Hernandez; his children, Jaime Vega, Jr, Carlos Vega, Luz Elena Vega, Karen Vega, and Brian Vega; his grandchildren, Alondra Vega, Claudia Vega, Angel Vega, Nicholas Vega, Danny Ordonez, Areli Ordonez, Aaron Ordonez, Ashley Morales, and Ana Morales; and his great grandchildren, Keh’lani Vega, Alaya Vega, and Draya Vega.

Jaime was born in Mexico and a resident of Gulfport. He was in the construction business specializing in ceramics. He loved playing soccer.

Thank you for being a great husband, grandfather, father and son. You always gave your best. You always put your family before yourself. Fly high my angel. You will be missed but never forgotten.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm Monday, October 27, 2025, with visitation one hour prior at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Biloxi. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
