Jacquelyn Leigh Bourgeois Southerland, age 66 of Plano, TX, born and raised in Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Leroy Bourgeois; and her son, William Robert Southerland, Jr.
Jacquelyn is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bill Southerland; mother, Nell Bourgeois; children, Marisa Southerland Jaroszewski (Jay), Jack Wesley Southerland; grandchildren, Will Jaroszewski and Emma Jaroszewski ; and siblings, David Bourgeois (Gloria) and Cindy Bourgeois Hollar (Chris).
She graduated Gulfport East High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi for Sociology. After retiring from the petroleum industry, Jacquelyn enjoyed attending her grandson's soccer games, playing monopoly with her granddaughter, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of CCAPL and AAPL.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2018, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 12:30 PM until the service.
