Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Coast Entertainer, Jackie E. Holley passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015.
Jackie was born on August 30, 1947 in Biloxi, MS. He was married to his lifelong sweetheart, Johnnie (Welch) Holley for 46 years.
Jackie was a popular Gulf Coast Entertainer for several decades from the 1950's to the present. He has played and became friends with such famous names as Jerry Lee Lewis, Kenneth Lovelace and Fats Domino.
Jackie's favorite past time was spending time with his wife, daughter and his 3 grandchildren. They were by far his greatest love.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie (Welch) Holley; his daughter, Tina (Holley) Gonsoulin; granddaughter, Hillary Paige Gonsoulin; grandson, Scotty Gonsoulin, Jr.; son-in-law, Scott Gonsoulin, Sr.; sisters, Christine (Holley) Brosh and Marilyn Ann Holley; and brother, Elvin T. Holley.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hollie Lynnette Gonsoulin; his father, Howard G. Holley Sr.; his mother, Nettie (McQueen) Holley; his sisters, Joyce (Holley) Olier and Dorothy (Holley) Sherman; and his brothers, Dolphie L. Holley, Howard (Junior) Holley, James (Sonny) Holley, Delmas J. Holley, and Harvey L. Holley.
A celebration of his life and legacy will be held at Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast, 1907 Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi, MS on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9:30-11:00am for family and friends. The service will begin at 11:00am.
Burial will follow at Coalville Cemetery on Lorraine Road in Biloxi/Woolmarket.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Holley residence immediately following the remembrance ceremony and committal.
