Jack Hicks, 73, of Gulfport, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Louise Goodman and a nephew, Terry Johnson.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Elizabeth Brogan of Sleepy Hollow, NY; his sisters, Anne Johnson of Texas and Linda Abney of South Carolina; and his grandchildren, Dillon Brogan and Ciara Brogan, and niece Vanessa Taylor, and nephews Mitchel Johnson, and Blaine Webb. Mr. Hicks is a graduate of Nicholls State and the University of Southern Mississippi and was a veteran of the US Air Force and the US Army. He retired after 40 years of working as a Certified Public Accountant. During his retirement, he enjoyed honoring the fallen through his affiliation with the Patriot Guard Riders and American Patriot Riders.
There will be a visitation on Friday, September 19, 2014, 12:00-2:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi with a graveside service to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Tributes and memories may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army Mississippi Gulf Coast, 2019-22nd Street, Gulfport, MS 39501.
