"You can always tell a German, but you can't tell them much."
Irmtraut (Tina) Philbrick passed away March 21 2017. Tina was a native of Gottingen, Germany, and was a resident of Biloxi for over 50 years. She was a retired manager for National Car Rental and worked previously as a hostess and cashier at the Marina Restaurant. She was a loving grandmother, and loved to joke and socialize with friends and family. Many tales will be told of her antics for generations to come. Tina was a feisty woman, full of piss and vinegar who will be always remembered for her vibrant love of life, laughter, dancing, and being the life of the party. Above all else, Tina loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Philbrick; father, Friedrich Wilhelm Karl Zeisig; and mother, Edith Janetzki Zeisig.
Tina is survived by her children and spouses: daughter, Astrid & James Hamilton, and son, Mark Daniel Philbrick; grandchildren: Alan & Erin Hamilton, Andrea Hamilton, Taylor Philbrick, and Dylan Gibbs; two great-grandchildren, Cameron Hamilton and River Hamilton; and siblings: sisters, Karin Warren and Marion Waag, and brother, Hartmut Zeisig.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visit after the service at Tina's.
