Irene Fricke Cuevas, age 84, of Bay St. Louis, passed away on February 16, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest F. ""Ernie"" Cuevas, Jr., her parents, John C. and Leona Fricke her siblings, Shirley Davis LaFontaine, John C. Fricke, Jr., Jimmy Fricke, and Leroy Fricke.
Survivors include her children, Patty (Jim) Baldree, Frank (Marion) Cuevas, Dennis (Joyce) Cuevas, Pam (James) Martin, Donald (Melanie) Cuevas, Faye (Tyrone) Necaise, and Lynn Cuevas, her siblings, Ronald Fricke, Betty Morris, Bob Fricke, Beverly Ladner, Linda Thornton, Guy Fricke, and Cathy ""CJ"" Ladner, 28 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, genealogy, and spending time with her family.
Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2016, from 6 - 8 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1911 McLaurin Street, Waveland, MS. The funeral service will be at 11 am Saturday in the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
