Inez Birmingham

Inez Moran Birmingham, a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother, departed this life on December 5, 2021 at the age of 95.

Born on November 2, 1926, she was raised in Pass Christian, Mississippi and graduated from Pass Christian High School. She later resided in Metairie, Louisiana for over 60 years.

Upon retiring from Western Union as a night manager, she became an avid crochet artist and collector of antiques, living a prayerful life according to her Catholic faith.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Oliver Birmingham; her son, Bevis Bennett III; her parents, Damis and Edna (née Ladner) Moran; her brother, Warren Moran; and her sister, Ilanthe Moran.

Inez is survived by her grandson, Scott Corey Bennett; her nephew, Tim Moran, and their respective families.

Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is serving the family.
