IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Inell
Kellum
October 13, 1938 – March 1, 2026
Inell Kellum passed from this life on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in her home in Biloxi, Mississippi in the presence of her husband of 73 years, Elvin Kellum, and her son Elvin Kellum Jr.
Inell was born Edna Inell Ladner on October 13, 1938, to her father, Francis John Ladner and her mother Matricila Ada (Moran) Ladner. She was preceded in death by her parents; two siblings, Ethel Marie Ladner and Ray Steven Ladner; and her daughter, Rebecca Kellum.
Inell is survived by her husband of 73 years, Elvin Kellum; her two sons, Elvin Kellum, Jr. of Biloxi, Mississippi and Keith Kellum of Houma, Louisiana; three granddaughters, Rebecca (Kellum) Walston of Barry, Illinois, Lori (Kellum) Predmore of Decatur, Illinois, and Julia Kellum of Daytona Beach Florida; five great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; two great-great-granddaughters; and one great-great-grandson.
Mrs. Kellum was a very accomplished cook and had many hobbies including sewing, crocheting, quilting and crafts. She loved to entertain guests and was known to be a very hospitable hostess. She loved to travel and had been to every state in the United States and numerous countries. Her husband liked to say her middle name should be “Go”. Whenever you saw Inell, it was almost always certain she would be with her husband, Elvin, as they were almost always together. It was often said they had a match made in Heaven. Inell always said God knew what He was doing when He brought them together. She was loved very much by her family, and she will be greatly missed until we see her again in Heaven.
