Ina Marie Dowdy Waterhouse, age 59, of Gulfport, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 16, 2013.
Mrs. Waterhouse was born in Biloxi to John and Katherine Mary Maurie Dowdy. She graduated from Biloxi High School and worked for 32 years with Stewart Sneed Hewes Insurance Agency. She enjoyed the outdoors and being on the water. Fishing and camping were two of her favorite family functions.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, John Waterhouse of Gulfport; children, John Christopher Montgomery and his wife, Cherry of Gulfport, Robert Blair Duran of Blue Mountain, MS, Heather Waterhouse Gonzalez and her husband, Abram of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Jesse Montgomery, Aisley Montgomery, Isaiah Gonzalez, Jeremiah Gonzalez, and Madison Gonzalez.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to her work-family at Stewart Sneed Hewes for their continued prayers and support.
A celebration of Ina's life will be held at a date and time to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to a charity of one's choice.
