Ilonka ""Lonnie"" Marshall, 87, of Lakeshore, MS, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2014.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her husband, George Magruda Marshall; her parents, Franz Joseph Von Kovach-Pryhoda and Evelyn May Nickerson Edmunds; and her brother, Richard Edmunds.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carla Maria Marshall of Harvey, LA and Karen Garcia Smith of Lakeshore, MS; her two sons, Alvin R. Smith, III of Lakeshore, MS and Steven Marshall of Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Mrs. Marshall was born in Chelsea, MA. She enjoyed writing poetry, was a member of the Gulf Coast Writer's Association, and a member of The Order of the Eastern Star #129 of Bay St. Louis.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 11AM at Christ Episcopal Church at 912 South Beach Blvd in Bay St. Louis. The visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service at the Church. Burial will follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Bay St. Louis.
