Hudson B. Hamilton, age 92, passed away November 24, 2014 in Long Beach, MS.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Marie Wasalski Hamilton; his brothers, James L. Hamilton and Curtis K. Hamilton; sisters, Marie Palmer and Martha Fitzgerald.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his children, Kathleen Hamilton Hicks of Long Beach, MS and Linda Hamilton (Carey Moore) of Honolulu, HI; siblings, S. Marlin Hamilton of Belleville, AL and William Clardys Hamilton of Evergreen, AL; grandchildren, Christopher (Kelli) Hicks and Ryan (Lynda) Hamilton; six great grandchildren, Connor, Kody and Cameron Hicks and Reagan, Taylor and Kenndi Hamilton.
Mr. Hamilton served in WWII and Korea while in the US Coast Guard and US Army. He was a retired traffic manager for the Port of Gulfport and a member of First Baptist Church, Long Beach.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Gentiva Hospice and Mia Shiyou for their care and compassion.

There will be a funeral service on Friday, November 28, 2014 at First Baptist Church, Long Beach at 12:00 p.m., with a visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach, MS.
