Howard Eugene McGowan, age 77, of Biloxi, passed away on April 29, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery McGowan and Velma Lois Hall McGowan; his children, Judy Vincent, Donald McGowan, and Patricia Dewitt.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette McGowan of Biloxi; children, Angel Padilla, Mary Picazzo, Robert McGowan, Cathleen Glascoe; stepchildren, Patricia Valdez, Sharon Husley, and Donna Guthrie; and many grandchildren and extended family.
Graveside services conducted by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors rendered by the United States Navy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Biloxi River Baptist Church, 13340 Rene Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39503.
