Howard Bodouin

On Saturday, May 4, 2013, Howard walked right out of his body, lifted up his hands and praised the Lord. He was a Christian, born again on April 12th, 1980 in Ingleside, Texas Baptist Church.
Howard Bodouin was born July 29th, 1948 in Biloxi, Mississippi at Old Biloxi Hospital. He went to be with Jesus on May 4th. He was an ordained deacon and member of Bel-Aire Baptist Church and a Gideon of Gulfport Camp. He had a 2-year Hospital Ministry, ministering to the spiritual needs of the sick. During the 2-year period of ministry, Howard witnessed to numerous people who accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. He was also Sunday School Supervisor at Sharon Baptist Church in Long Beach for seven years. His most cherished memory was his trip to Israel.
Howard is survived by his loving wife, Joan Bodouin of Biloxi; two step-children, Debra Ratliff of Biloxi, and Walt Ransom of Tampa, Florida; four grandchildren, Stephanie Wright of Biloxi, Travis Ransom of Raleigh, North Carolina, Bryan Ratliff of Biloxi, and Calvin Ratliff of Biloxi; three great-grandchildren, Destiny Reyer-Ratliff, Kristin Wright, and Grayson Wright. He is also survived by his brothers, Jeffery Bodouin of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; Kevin Bodouin of Columbus, Ohio; Craig Bodouin of Ocean Springs; and his sister, Deborah Galle of Ocean Springs. He leaves behind a legacy of friends and family members, and a loving church family at Bel-Aire Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013, at 3pm at Bel-Aire Baptist Church, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Coalville Cemetery in Woolmarket.
