Howard Atkins

~~Howard Atkins, age 82, of Carriere, passed away on September 27, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Atkins; mother, Beatrice Gresham; and a brother, Jerry Frank Atkins.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Bagby Atkins; his children, Jillann Taquino (Maurice), Julie Puchot, and Jennifer Hambrice (Mike); a brother, Buddy Atkins; a sister, Marie Jackson; 5 grandchildren, Maureen Taquino, Jenny Puchot, Katie Puchot, Cory Clutter and Chloe Clutter; and other relatives and friends.
He was an HVAC distributor for many years and was also the Alabama HVAC Insider News Editor.  Mr. Atkins was a pet lover and spending time outside.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017, from 3 - 4 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  A prayer service will be at 4 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will take place in Historic Carmel Cemetery, Mansfield, GA.
