Horace Rowland Taylor

Horace Rowland Taylor, aged 84, of Long Beach, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at his home.

Horace was born in Collins, Mississippi, and was a longtime resident of Long Beach. He was a self-employed roofer and contractor throughout his life.

In his personal life, Horace enjoyed fishing and also shared a love for baseball, which he enjoyed playing with his sons and grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances Taylor.

Horace is survived by his children, Don Taylor (Jamie), Lynn Fouasnon (Alain), Greg Taylor (Marion), and Joey Taylor (Liberty). He is also survived by his siblings, including Billy Taylor (Mae), and his grandchildren, Kaycee Moseng, Kristian Moseng, Jacob Taylor, Abigail Taylor, Braden Taylor, Allison Taylor, and Roe Taylor.

Horace’s love and commitment to his family were unwavering, all of his actions and work were always with his children and grandchildren in mind.
