Hollis Moran

Hollis J. Moran, age 78, of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reno and Virginia Moran, and Renelder and Elsie Moran; a brother, Veldon "Bud" Moran; and a sister, Rita Cuevas.
Hollis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Babin Moran; his children, Anthony J. (Paula) Moran, Thomas C. Moran, both of Gulfport, and Michael T. (Machelle) Moran of Lumberton; his brother, Russell (Liz) Moran of Gulfport.
He was an Inventory Control Specialist at Gulfport Memorial Hospital for 41 years and was a faithful member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Lizana. He was a Knights of Columbus Past District Deputy, Past Grand Knight- Council 9958, and Faithful Navigator 4th Degree- Assembly 2284.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, from 6-10 pm. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 11 am, at St. Ann Catholic Church, Lizana. A visitation at the funeral home will precede Mass, and a procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 am.
Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
