Hilda Williams, of Pass Christian, age 92, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 in Gulfport, MS.
Preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Ester Aufdemorte, her brother, Milton Aufdemorte and her husband James A. Williams.
Survived by two sons, James A. Williams, Jr. and his spouse, Brenda, of Melbourne, FL and Milton A. Williams and his spouse, Dorothy of Pass Christian, MS; Twin sister, Renza Lozes, New Orleans, LA; Five Grandchildren, LynneÌ King, Melbourne, FL, Lara Abercrombie and Ester Goggin, Gulfport, MS, Leigh Skrnich, Prosper, TX, and Chris Stuart, Ozark, AL; and by 20 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Gideon's and/or any veteran's organization.
Hilda was born in New Orleans, LA, May 2, 1920, to Milton and Ester Aufdemorte. She studied art in New Orleans. She married her childhood sweetheart, James A. Williams, in 1942. The family resided in New Orleans until they moved to Pass Christian in 1970. She was active in the Garden Club, Friends of the Library, PCYC, and her church. She was devoted to and actively involved with her family. Her faith in our Savior Jesus Christ is a great comfort to all who loved her. She will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at Holy Family Parish Church, Pass Christian, MS, on Tuesday, March 26 at 1:00 p.m.
