Heyward Burdette

Heyward Rene Burdette, age 78 of Biloxi, passed away at his home, Thursday, May 3, 2018.  He was born in South Carolina, to Wallace Burdette and Margaret Baxley.
Rene served in the United States Air Force and received his Associates Degree from Georgia Tech.  He loved spending time with family and especially loved watching his grandchildren play ball.
Rene was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Burdette, and Margaret Baxley; brothers, Don Carter and Thomas Baxley; and son, Rene Burdette, Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Diane Burdette, children; DeeDee Beale (David), Rhonda Emerson (Chad), Sean Burdette (Casey), and Trevor Burdette, siblings; Basil Carter (Alma), Wayne Burdette (Mickey), grandchildren; Tyler Blaine, Briley Mallett, Brayden Abel, Mattie Abel, Layla Abel, Beau Burdette, Kaitlyn Virgil, Jason Burdette, and one great grandchild; Kingston Burdette.
