Henry Herring

Henry "Hank" Guinn Herring of Vancleave, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the age of 80.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Martha (Dunnam) Herring, one brother and one sister.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl (Bigham) Herring; three sons, John Randolph Herring, Phillip Sean Herring (Sara), William Joseph Savage (Jeauxlis), and one daughter, Vicki Jo Savage-Spiers (Curtis); twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray and Larry; and two sisters, Anne and Donna Jean.
He was born on August 21, 1937 in Toulminville, AL in Mobile County. He later served in the United States Navy doing two tours of duty in Vietnam, and reached the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer before his retirement.
Hank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, best friend, servant of God and a man willing to work and work hard he did, for his family.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd at Washington Ave. in West Jackson County. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM, where family and friends may gather one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
The family would like to invite all to gather at the home of Vicki and Curtis Spiers after burial for a Celebration of Life Reception.
