Henry Darnell Henderson

Henry Darnell Henderson, age 76, of Diamondhead, MS passed away Friday, July 17, 2026. 

Henry was born in Lucedale, MS and graduated from Richton High School. Known for his strong work ethic, he retired from Mississippi Power Company and honorably served in the United States Army, followed by many years of dedicated service in the U.S. Army Reserves before his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Darnell Henderson and Velma Henderson; his brother, Ricky Dudley Henderson; and his sister, Billie Gautier.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; his children, Tracy Wyatt (Marc), Ricky Derek Henderson, Adam Darnell Henderson (Cynthia), and seven grandchildren.

A private burial will be Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you consider any memorials be sent to charities associated with Alzheimer's or Parkinson's.
