Helen Yarbrough

Helen Landrum Yarbrough, age 91, of Gulfport, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.
Mrs. Yarbrough was born to Mozart and Delia Saucier Landrum in Harrison County. She was an active member of Gateway United Methodist Church, and was honored by the Chamber of Commerce several times as Senior Citizen of the Year. Gardening was her love, and she enjoyed cooking and providing for her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene M. Yarbrough; her parents; children, Kim Allen and Kenneth Yarbrough; granddaughter, Shelby Yarbrough; two sisters, Georeane Portwood and Donna Castello; and a brother, Glenn K. Landrum.
Mrs. Yarbrough is survived by her children, Charles Yarbrough, Karen Kelly, Phillip Yarbrough, and Terry Yarbrough; and her siblings, Shirley Dedeaux and Joan Robinson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Gateway United Methodist Church, from 4:00-7:00pm.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017, at 11:00am.
Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery.
